Sir,
            I am directed to forward the Director(PMU) DO No.12-10/2013-PMU dated 10-01-2013 on the above subject. As you are aware that the IT Modernization of the Department of Posts(DoP) began with the 11th Five Year Plan, reached another milestone in September’2012 with the launch of the Phase-II of the project. In this phase, India Post 2012 project seeks to ensure availability of IT enabled postal, banking, insurance and retail services across India and bring in parity between services rendered in rural and urban Post Offices. Bearing this in mind, feedback from staff of DoP is required at regular intervals through surveys, which will be launched during January’ 2013.
            For the purpose, it is requested to help in identifying sample employees from your organization using the guidelines mentioned below.
 All Group A and Group B ( Gazetted and Non-Gazetted ) officers up to sub division level

Select employees across all experience levels (For example: Up to 5 , 5-15 , > 15 years)with less representation from employees with less than 2 years of service remaining
Select employees across all types of offices (Circle Office, Postal Accounts Office, Regional Office, Division Office, Sub Division Office, Head Post Office, single/double/triple handed Sub Post Office, Branch Post Office, Sorting Office, Speed Post Centre, Record Office, Circle Stamp Depot, Postal Store Depot, Postal Training Centres, Postal Staff College) 
Select employees across all age groups (For example, Up to 25 years, 25-35 years, 35-45 years, 45-55 years, > 55 years)
Select male and female employees in the sample
 For Circle Office and both ROs, the details of officers to be nominated has been described in the template.  However, two PAs/ BEs, one MTS of each section should be nominated along with other designated officers. It may so happen that the email ids may not be created by some PAs / MTS. The information relating to email id is one of the mandatory criteria for sharing the data by TCS. Please ensure that all columns are correctly and properly filled before sending it.
 It is also requested kindly to fill up the selected employee details in the enclosed template and email us by 16-01-2013 for onward submission to Directorate.
          Kindly read the attachments thoroughly. This is most urgent.
