General Secretary , R-III writes to Secretary ( Posts ) for transfer of NSPC Hubs to the control of RMS :
No. R-III/25/SPC Hubs/2011, Dated 7-09-2011
To
Secretary
Department of Posts,
Dak Bhawan,
New Delhi-110116.
Subject:-NSPC Hubs under the control of RMS –regarding
Respected Madam ,
Kindly recall our discussions in the meetings held in June-July 2011 regarding placing the NSPC Hubs under the control of Sr. Superintendent / Superintendent RMS from the control of SSPOs/SPOs
The staff side had pointed out that in some Circles NSPC hubs are functioning under the administrative control of RMS Superintendents, the remaining NSPC Hubs in some circles hubs like as M.P., Punjab, J&K, Kerela, Karnataka, West Bengal , Orissa and others are controlled by Postal Superintendents. This has created An apprehension in the minds of the RMS employees that in the longer run the identity of RMS will be lost and eventually it will be merged with Post offices.
The Staff Side was assured during the June-July discussions that all the National Speed Post Hubs will function only under the control of RMS and any existing speed post Hub under the control of the SSPOs will be transferred to RMS Control.
However, we find that no action to bring all National Speed Post Hubs under the RMS control has been initiated in spite of assurance.
We urge upon you to kindly issue the orders regarding placing all the NSPC hubs under the control of RMS Superintendent so that assurance given in the meetings may be fulfilled.
With regards
Yours sincerely,
(Giri Raj SinghPosted by : Com.N.C.Singh,Circle Secretary AIPEDEU Orissa Circle.
