CHATTER OF DEMAND OF 7TH SEPTEMBER STRIKE

THE CIRCLE WORKING COMMITTEE MEETING WAS HELD SUCESSFULLY AT CUTTACK

The circle working committee meeting of All India Postal Extra Departmental Employees Union, Orissa Circle Branch was held on 15&16 August 2010 at Cuttack GPO Recreation Club under Presidentship of Com. P.R. Dash. All working committee members and Divisional Secretaries was attended. Committee unanimously resoleved that all the Gramin Dak Sevaks will participate the 7th September, 2010 One Day General Strike. All the Divisions will hold the Divisional working committee meeting and General body meeting to success the strike and also the circle union organise general body meeting at Sundergarh & Bhadrak on 22nd August. Berhampur on 29th August & Baripada 5th September. All the members of the above union are requested to participate in the General body meeting in the above date. The meeting also decide to organise a state level Convention and Demonstration before Circle office, Bhubaneswar demanding stepmother attitude to the GDS Employees during the month of October 2010. The Secretary General NFPE & General Secretary will attend the above programme.

CIRCLE UNION HOLDING DHARANA BEFORE CPMG OFFICE DUE TO NON PAYMENT OF 60% ARREARS TO GDSs

Sub: Holding of Dharana Programme before Circle office due to intentional and deliberate delay in paymate of 60% arrears of TRCA to Gramin Dak Sevaks by all Division except Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Cuttack City & Balangir Divisions. - Request for a suitable instruction to all Heads of Divisions for immediate payment within 31 July 2010 - regarding.

Rev. Madam,
Vide Directorate order NO. 6-1/2009-PE II Dated 10.06.2010 it has been ordered to make paymate of 60% arrears of TRCA to the Gramin Dak Sevaks by 15th July 2010, with an undertaking from the GDS excess or short payment, if any , to be recovered, but no Divisional Heads have paid any heed to the orders of Directorate conveyed by the circle office till date with a plea or other as per the guidance of the DA(P) Cuttack who is at fault til date, except 4 divisions in Orissa causing serious resentment of the GDS Employees who are the backbone of the Department.
I therefore urge upon the Circle administration to kindly intervene on the matter and see that the payment should be made before end of this month failing which there no other way out before circle union accept to adopt the trade union path like Dharana programme before circle office on and from 2nd August 2010 to end the hue and cry of the GDS employees.

CIRCLE CONFERENCE WAS HELD SUCESSFULLLY

The 6th bi-ennial circle conference of All India Postal Extra Departmental Employees Union, Orissa Circle Branch was held from 24th to 26th January 2010 at Sagar Palace, Baripada Under Mayurbhanj Division under presidentship of Com. Parsuram Dash, Circle President. Com. S.S. Mahadevaiah General Secretary was inagurated the open season. Com. Dusmanta Das Joint convenor of Sramika Karmachari Ekata Mancha Attended the conference as Chief Speaker and Com. Debabrata Mohanty Circle Secretary Postman Gr.-D was Chief Guest. More than 500 delegates attended the open season. The conference has elected Following Office bearers unanimouslly.
